Back On Track Mountain Bikes respects
your privacy. This page exists to explain the practises of this
website and the subsequent usage of any or all personal data
collected about you by us via this website.
Your usage of this website remains at
all times 'anonymous' except in such circumstances that you choose
for your usage to be identifiable.
This website (herein after referred to
as "the site") does not make use of any form of tracking
that can or will uniquely identify you on any visit that you make to
the site. The site does not use cookies in any form.
The site makes use only of raw server
logs which contain only information about the pages and files
requested and viewed by a request from an Internet Protocol (IP)
address. This may be your unique address or it may be the address of
a proxy server through which you connect to the internet. The site
has no way of linking you as an individual to that IP address.
At some points within the site, we have
made available various forms for you to fill in in order to contact
us. To use these forms as a method of contact requires that you
divulge personal information. This personal information is required
simply to allow us to deal with your requests in a timely and
professional manner. We do not keep this information in any form
unless you have given your specific consent for us to do so. The
information requested may be a name, email address, physical address
or telephone number, OR any combination of the aforementioned items.
If you do not feel happy about supplying this information via the
internet then please feel under no obligation to do so, simply use
any of the other methods of contact detailed on our contacts page.
The site operates a mailing list. This
list is entirely private. Only staff of Back On Track Mountain Bikes
have access to this list. Any messages sent out to list members does
not contain information about you or your email address with the
exception of any messages that are uniquely sent to you. This list is
held upon an internet server but is not publicly accessible, residing
behind 2 levels of security. Membership of the mailing list is
entirely voluntary and you are given the opportunity to remove
yourself from our list within every message that we send out. We
honour ALL requests for removal immediately.
We DO NOT allow our mailing list to be
used by any third party, NOR do we ever pass any information supplied
via the site to any third party.
If you require to view any data held by
us about you, you are legally entitled to do so under the provisions
of the UK Data Protection Act. We will comply with all requests for
the viewing of held data wherever those requests are made in
compliance of the provisions of the Data Protection Act. We are
legally obliged to ensure that you are the person relating to any
requested data. As such there is a procedure that must be followed.
